ACNE Paper has released its latest issue, number nine, with Tilda Swinton on the cover, photographed by Paolo Roversi. Looking forward to hold the issue in my own hands and see the rest of the large images on the lovely matte paper.

The photographs have this rare mood, the roughness, the playfulness and the beauty that attracts me, and which I love to see. Some of the pictures gives me the same experience as Roversi's work.

for kort tid siden, det føles som om det var noen dager siden, var det så varmt at det stod artikler i avisene om butikker som var utsolgte for vifter, fordi det var ulevelig uten vifter for folk i denne vindstille byen, for det var så varmt her. Jeg sov med vinduene åpne, selv om jeg bor i første etasje, og jeg dusjet i iskaldt vann helt til jeg fikk gåsehud og langt forbi punktet da jeg var blitt ren, kroppen måtte fryse skikkelig før jeg kunne bevege meg videre ut i dagen, og der var det så varmt overalt at jeg savnet tilbake til den dusjen, eller til et kaldt stort hav. Jeg orket ikke kaffe, iallefall ikke varm, vanlig kaffe, jeg drakk kaldt vann og spiste is. Alt for å kjøle meg ned. Det er rart å tenke på, for nå er jeg så kald at jeg går med skjerf og ullsokker inne, selv om jeg mister grepet på det glatte gulvet og sklir når jeg runder hjørner, jeg liksom seiler rundt i leiligheten, men ull overalt. Jeg drikker varme drikker, samme hva det er, bare det er varmt. Så skjøre vi er for temperaturer. Så lite som skal til før vi må justere.

I used to know how to play the piano. easy. fast. smooth. I went to my russian piano teacher Olga every week. I was a good student. Now I have to count lines. or spaces between lines to to find out what note it is. C-D-E-F-G.. "-G"

If you heard me trying to read and play notes, you would be lost. You wouldn't guess what song it was. I would put my head close to the paper placed in front of me. Staring at black dots. Black dots placed between lines, under a line, over a line, on an empty space, or perfectly placed on a line. A dot with a thin black line right through it. You would look at me, hearing tones played out in an awkward rythm, and think that I should stop playing. Because i sucked at it.

But I can tell you this. Its in me somwhere. I just need to practice. I need to find the skills again. Because I know for sure it's in here. U know.. I still know how Für Elise starts. And I play it pretty well too. Its just there. It's stuck in my fingers. They just runs over the keys. And the song is there. Not dots on lines. Not notes. But tones.
